Peanut Butter Granola Balls

A little sticky and a little messy but a lot of fun!
  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 cups granola
  • powdered sugar

In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, honey, nuts, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well blended. Add granola and stir together until well coated. Wet your hands, then form the mixture into 2 inch balls. Roll the balls in the powdered sugar. Store in refrigerated in a covered container. Makes 2 dozen balls.

Michelle's 'nummy' Queso!


  • 2 lb. brick Velveelta cheese

  • 1 lb. brick Mexican Velveeta cheese

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 2 cans Rotel green chili and tomatoes (drained)

  • 1 can evaporated milk

  • shot of worchestershire

Cook and brown hamburger then drain. Melt Velveeta in slow cooker. Add all ingredients when melted. Serve hot with chips. Enjoy!

Danielle's Special Spinach Salad

  • 1 bag of Spinach
  • 8-10 fresh strawberries-sliced
  • 2 kiwi's --peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. fresh ginger--peeled and grated
  • Combine sugar, lemon juice and ginger together to make dressing. Add all ingredients and hand toss to perfection.

Michelle's Chicken Packets

  • 2 cups cooked, chopped chicken
  • 3 or 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbs. chopped chives
  • salt to tast
  • 1/2 cup crushed seasoned crouton/bread crumbs
  • 2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls (Michelle says Pillsbury is best)
  • 1/4 cup melted margarine
  • Mix chicken, cream cheese, chives , milk and salt to make filling. Add 1/4 cup chicken filling to each crescent roll rectangle. Dip each packet in melted margarine and coat with bread crumbs. Place packets on baking sheet and cook at 350 for 20 minutes. Enjoy!!!

Awesome Blossom Buttermilk Syrup

1/2 C. Buttermilk
1/2 C Butter
1 C. Sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil all together then take off heat and add 1/2 tsp soda - it foams up really cool! Enjoy over pancakes, Waffles, Crepes, French toast - heck..some people even like it on their eggs! Enjoy!

South of the Border Pizza:

South of the Border Pizza:

Preheat oven to 400

Ingredients:
l lb. ground beef
l 1/2 c. salsa
l package (8.5 ounces corn muffin mix)
l 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. milk
l egg
l can mexicorn, drained (if you can't find mexicorn then use regular corn in the can and add a little taco seasoning)
l 1/2 c. mexican four cheese blend
sour cream (optional)
avocado slices (optional)
cilantro (optional)

Cook l lb ground beef, add l 1/2 c salsa - set aside

In a bowl, stir:

1 package corn muffin mix
l 1/2 c flour
2/3 c. milk
1 egg -

grease hands and spread above in 12" round pizza pan sprayed with cooking spray

On top of the muffin mixture sprinkle your beef mixture and mexicorn -

Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees until crust is golden - sprinkle with l 1/2 c mexican four cheese blend - put back in oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Garnish with sour cream, avocado slices and cilantro if desired! Enjoy!!!
Joann's secret ingredient for her Sunday roast: one can of Golden Mushroom soup - Instructions: in crockpot put your roast, potatoes, carrots, onions and veggies of your choice! (Hey, be creative...we are!!!) and liquid along with one can of Golden Mushroom soup - cook all day or until tender and enjoy!!!!
